Q. Where do you take passengers?
A. I take passengers to Bisbee, Naco, Palominas/Hereford, McNeal, Elfrida, Douglas and Sierra Vista. I do not travel to Benson, Huachuca City, Whetstone or Tucson. Please see zone maps on the website.
Q. What do you drive?
A. The vehicle is a 2007 Ford Econoline 12 passenger van. I can remove the back 2 bench seats and accommodate 2 wheelchairs in the rear, as a wheelchair lift and an adjustable wheelchair restraint system is installed in the van.
Q. How do I arrange a ride?
A. Call (520) 366-2149 to reserve a ride. Please have your destination address or location and your appointment time handy when you make the call. All appointments are on a “first come, first served” basis, so please, make your reservations early.
Q. Do you charge for “wait time?”
A. Because I will schedule both drop offs and pick ups in advance, I do not charge for “wait time.” However, I do expect my customers to reserve their return ride for the approximate time they will finish their errand or appointment. I will be “flexible.”
Q. Do you charge for an extra passenger?
A. I do charge $2 per extra passenger. However, you and a friend can split the cost and save money if you schedule a trip together. For example, a ride from Warren to the San Jose Safeway and back is $20 round trip. If you travel with a friend and split the cost, it is $22, or $11 each.
Q. What are your hours of operation?
A. Currently, I can provide rides from 7am to 11pm weekdays. I can provide rides after 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays, but am not available during the day on weekends. I hope to have an additional driver to run holiday weekends.
Q. What kinds of payment do you take?
A. I take cash, checks (with a government issued photo ID) and Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
